Presentation Evening 2021
All the award winners from our 2021 season
Batting Award – Touchwood Sports Trophy
Winner: Nathan Dales
This year’s batting award goes to Nathan Dales for his 380 runs in 8 innings at an average of 54.3 including his unbeaten 135, during the season he scored two hundreds and one fifty.
Unfortunately Nathan couldn’t make the presentation evening so his Captain Neil Pickup stepped in to receive the award from Rachel Lane from our main sponsor Greenplant.
Bowling Award – Touchwood Sports Trophy
Winner: Ben Smith
Ben Smith was chosen for the this year’s bowling award after taking 34 wickets in 144 overs including 17 maidens, 3 five wicket hauls and a best of 6-53.
Ben accepted his bowling award from Rachel Lane of Greenplant
Fielding Cup
Winner: Robert Lecane
This year’s fielding cup goes to Robert Lecane for his all round performances and unbelievable catch in the SOA game.
Robert is presented with the cup from 3rd team captain Neil Pickup.
Colt of the Year – The John Bull Trophy
Winner: Jake Mackay
Jake started the season playing for the 3rd team and due to his performances finished playing in the 1sts
Unfortunately Jake couldn’t attend the presentation evening but his brother James stepped in to accept the Colts Cup on his behalf.
The Captains Cup – Martin Malliagh
Winner: Cally Evens
The Captains Cup this year goes to Cally for all his efforts behind the scenes and the support and coaching he gives to the all the youth teams.
Unfortunately Cally couldn’t attend the evening but we will make sure his award makes it to him.
Best Performance Plate – The Reg Steele Plate
Winner: Archie Davis
This years best performance award goes to Archie Davis for his outstanding innings of 97 against a very strong Didcot bowling attack which was pivotal in helping the 1st team chase own 252.
Archie accepted The Reg Steele Plate from Rachel Lane of Greenplant.
1st Team Player of the Year – The Roy Boughton Cup
Winner: Ben Smith
The 1st team player of the year 2021 goes to Ben Smith

2nd Team Player of the Year – Wally Boswell Memorial Trophy
Winner: Matt Maule
The 2nd team player of the year 2021 is Matt Maule
Matt was presented with the Wally Boswell Memorial Trophy from Sue Pearce.
3rd Team Player of the Year – The Rowland Maule Shield
Winner: Louis Stanfield
The 3rd team player of the year for taking 21 wickets including 3 five wicket hauls and a best of 6-42 goes to Louis Stanfield,
Louis was presented with the The Rowland Maule Shield from Neil Pickup.
Clubman – Walter Surman Memorial Trophy
Winner: Neil Pickup
The 2021 Clubman is Neil Pickup to help recognise all his efforts on and off the pitch, during the year he has been instrumental in running the youth teams across all ages groups organising both league and friendly fixtures including two tours for our under 11’s and under 13’s.
Neil was presented with the Walter Surman Memorial Trophy by Lesley Pykett.
